On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Man Ray’s death (1890-1976), on november 18 2026, the Man Ray Association invites you to a screening of the documentary film “Man Ray”, directed by Deidi von Schaewen and co-produced with the Centre Pompidou. The 52 minutes screening will feature the restored English version with French subtitles, featuring Juliet Man Ray, Meret Oppenheim, Teeny Duchamp, Philippe Soupault, with Man Ray himself serving as narrator through archival audio recordings. It will begin at 5 pm at the Jeu de Paume (1 Place de la Concorde, Paris 8e) and will be followed by a cocktail reception and a discussion with the director.

The Man Ray International Association was founded in 1990 by Juliet Man Ray, widow of the artist. Its purpose is to safeguard, increase knowledge and promote the work of Man Ray by supporting exhibitions and publishing projects on an international scale. Since 2004, Marion Meyer is the President of the Association.
